Our breakfast room features the same spacious high ceilings found throughout the house,
finished with a delicate period cornice that reflects our homes historic charm.
Bright and airy, it is the perfect setting for a casual breakfast.
There is no need to pre-order simply take a seat, and we will take your order at the table.
Every dish is freshly prepared and cooked to order just for you.
You are welcome to enjoy breakfast between 08:15am and 9:15am.
Our breakfast will set you up for a day exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
The full Scottish which includes Haggis and a homemade tattie scone, perfect for dipping into a soft yoke fried egg.
And that is just the traditional part we also have fluffy omelettes stuffed with a choice of fillings.
Of course we have eggs your way with a side of bacon, or there is creamy Tuscan beans on chunky homemade toasted bread.
For a slower release of energy our porridge is made from pinhead oatmeal, pre-soaked overnight to make it extra creamy with just a pinch of sea salt.
For those who prefer a lighter start to the day there is homemade Granola, thick Greek yogurt with fruit compote, or perhaps a juicy fresh fruit medley.
Here at Brae Lodge Guest House we like to shake it up each day with a daily breakfast special.
So think Eggs Benny, homemade breakfast burgers, lightly toasted Bagel with lashings of cream cheese, smoked Salmon and crisp salad veggies.
Each day is different so when you come down look out for our chalkboard located within the breakfast room.
We are very proud to say that all the bread, English style muffins, rolls and baked treats are homemade here on the premises by Lesley.
The baked treats will be available on the chalkboard from time to time.
